At Somshell, every piece is handcrafted with care — but if something isn't right with your order, we're here to make it right.

1. Replacement Window

You can request a replacement within 7 days of receiving your order, provided the item meets the conditions below.

2. Eligibility for Replacement

We accept replacement requests for:

  • Damaged or defective items received due to manufacturing issues
  • Wrong item delivered (incorrect product, size, or print sent)
  • Significant quality issues not visible in product photos (stitching defects, fabric flaws, etc.)

Items are not eligible for replacement if:

  • The request is raised after the replacement window
  • The item has been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery
  • Original tags, packaging, or labels are missing
  • The issue is due to natural variation in handcrafted print fabric (slight color/print variation is part of the handmade charm, not a defect)
  • The item was purchased on final sale/clearance (if applicable)

3. How to Request a Replacement

  • Share your order number, clear photos/video of the issue, and a brief description
  • Our team will review and confirm if your item qualifies within 7 days
  • Once approved, we'll share pickup or return-shipping instructions

4. Replacement Process

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we'll process your replacement within 10 days
  • If the same size/print is unavailable, we'll offer a comparable alternative or store credit, your choice
  • Replacement shipping costs within India are covered by us for valid claims; international replacement shipping may vary (we'll confirm before processing)

5. Important Notes

  • Since each piece is handcrafted, please allow for minor variations in print placement, color tone, and embroidery — these reflect the handmade nature of our products and are not considered defects.
  • We recommend unboxing and checking your order on the day of delivery and reaching out immediately if there's an issue.
  • For international orders, please review your country's customs guidelines, as replacement shipping timelines may differ.
